The Only Barefoot Race in Japan
Every year, nearly 300 barefoot/natural runners come together to this race from all over Japan. Levels of runners are from complete beginners who has never run barefoot before to elite runners who can run under 15minutes for 5km.
The course is 100% on trail so some parts can be a little painful because of the rocks and stones, but we gurantee you finish the race with a big smile. You can see the photos from previous years.
You may choose the distance between 5km and 10km, and you may also decide your category either shoes or barefoot. However, 21.1km is considered All Asia Championship, so for this distance, you must run barefoot. Also to enter for this category, it is required to have experience in barefoot running at least 21.1km on asphalt before the race day.
If you are coming with kids, they may enter for 1.2km or 2.4km barefoot challenge race.
This is the first time we except foreign entries so anyone from outside of Japan are more than welcome to join us.
